It was another successful Service Night at St. Alban's Episcopal Church! We thank all of the volunteers at St. Alban’s who continuously show-up in support of the lunch program at our Emergency Men’s Shelter. We could not continue to offer this feeding opportunity to our residents without our dedicated volunteers. We are grateful.

If It’s September, It’s Time To Get Walking!

St. Paul's Community Development Corporation (SPCDC) has officially kicked-off our 3rd Annual - Walk to Fight Hunger (Virtual 5K) in support of our Food Pantry. With ongoing inflationary pressures putting a strain on household budgets, the need for our pantry services have not waned. If anything, the need has increased.

The St. Paul's Food Pantry has been in operation since 1970 when it was established to serve approximately seventy-five (75) persons a month with canned goods donated from local houses of worship. Today, the SPCDC Food Pantry serves on average 550 families per month and is building a network of supportive services that is engaging individuals and families through non-traditional access points - including through our local school system.

The beauty of this VIRTUAL event is that participation is flexible and can happen at a time and place of your choosing! Walkers can sign-up at any time between September 9, 2022 and October 9, 2022 to participate. You can also encourage friends and family to join you OR support your efforts. Recognition prizes will be awarded to individual/s who register the most walkers or raise the most funds in support of your participation. A commemorative t-shirt and participation medallion will be provided to the first 100 registrants.

Thank you for joining with St. Paul's Community Development Corporation (SPCDC) in support of our Food Pantry and our ongoing efforts to fight hunger in all its forms. NOW LET'S GET WALKING!

Today is a special day for a host of reasons. Whether or not you recognize and celebrate Christ’s birth, we can all celebrate the coming together of family, the sharing of love and gifts, and the gratitude for our many blessings past, present and future.

This day is even more special thanks to the generosity of many in our donor community who made this season brighter thanks to their participation in our annual Adopt-A-Family program. Because of that support, over 440 children received holiday gifts this year. A tremendous outpouring of love and support for which we are extremely grateful.

From our families to yours, Merry Christmas!

Many of our residents need household essentials as they begin a new chapter in their lives. These “Welcome Home” baskets are filled with household items like dishes, utensils, cups, placemats, dish and bath towels, cleaning supplies, toiletries, a welcome home mat, and more.

We are so appreciative of this very thoughtful donation. Thank You, Liquid Church!
