Morris Habitat staffer Barbara Dunn celebrated a ¾ Century birthday with a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity Argentina http://www.hpha.org.ar/ seeking to help 75 families have better housing conditions.
Three NJ Habitat affiliates including Bergen County Habitat for Humanity and Paterson Habitat for Humanity agreed to be conduits for the donations and match funds raised. To date it's been a great success with over $17,000 raised meaning close to $35,000 will go to Habitat Argentina helping nearly 100 families.
Thank you Barbara for living the mission and vision of Habitat for Humanity - a world where everyone deserves a decent place to live!
Cheers to you on your 75th birthday!
Some of our Corporate Marketing team put this philosophy into practice this past Friday, October 28th, by participating in a Paterson Habitat for Humanity build. There, they volunteered their time sweeping construction sites, preparing insulation, and painting and sanding walls with the hopes of giving local families a home for the holidays.
We are so proud of you and thankful to have you as part of the Kyocera family.

More than 35 years ago, the United Nations General Assembly took an important step in promoting the idea that everyone deserves a decent place to live by declaring that the first Monday in October would be World Habitat Day.
Today On , Habitat for Humanity joins the United Nations and organizations around the world in raising awareness and in educating and mobilizing individuals and communities to take action on the current global housing challenge.

As a reflection of our organization’s growth and expansion, we have decided that 2023 is the right time for a brand refresh and for our name to more accurately reflect the communities we serve and will serve.
We will leverage the experience and expertise we have developed over the past 38 years to bring our traditional volunteer-supported homebuilding efforts, and a new home preservation solution, to all of Passaic County while continuing our work in our hometown of Paterson.
