We ended our Fall 2022 Edition of the [email protected] Saturday Academy with a tour of NYC! Many of our students had never been to Manhattan though they live a short 30-minute train right from the Big Apple! Our tour guide, Briant, of was EXCELLENT! He was extremely knowledgeable and funny! Shout out to our faculty, Professors Addison and Jenkins, for joining us! (part 1)

Oh boy! We had a super busy day today!!! We started our morning with a conversation with award-winning author moderated by our friend around the text “Punching the Air”. We really missed .yusefsalaam but hope to chat with him soon! We ended our semester of bio/chem instruction by designing clay models of animal and plant cells (it’s harder than you think!) and settled ourselves with our yoga session. We are enlivened and enriched… and exhausted! But happy!

We were so fortunate to have as our Keynote Speaker yesterday to kick off our Paterson Youth Leadership Corps Summer Boot Camp! She was phenomenal! Thank you, for your Leadership, Service and Commitment!

Our Second Annual Paterson Youth Leadership is now expanded to allow students from ALL Paterson high schools (public, charter, private), grades 10 - 12! Sign up for our three-day training which provides 12 service hours, daily lunches and a Certificate of Completion! Students completing all 12 hours are eligible to receive a $100 stipend!

We had an AWESOME time at yesterday! We learned a ton about the institution as well as got a feel for the community. We were welcomed everywhere we went and loved how closely knit and efficient the university felt. We even saw the President hard at work! 🦆
