This past Saturday, over 300 hundred runners and walkers laced up their sneakers for the 12th Annual Sax4Miler benefitting St. Joseph's Health’s Children’s Hospital. We are excited to share that Sax LLP surpassed their goal and raised over $100,000 in support of our Child Life Department. Today we celebrate the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth Founder’s Day!

We recognize our founder, Mother Mary Xavier Mehegan for her leadership in establishing a stable religious community 164 years ago to support the poor, vulnerable and underserved through numerous schools, orphanages, hospitals and more throughout our region.

The Foundation continues to take pride in supporting the mission of the Sisters and we are grateful for their unwavering support of our work over the years. We share our appreciation for the Sisters of Charity’s dedication to not only our patients and families, but to our entire St. Joseph's Health community.

At St. Joseph's Health we live out Coach Coughlin’s words “no one fights childhood cancer alone” every day. St. Joseph’s Health Foundation hosted its annual Holiday Party and Spotlight on St. Joseph’s, sponsored by Columbia Bank. Guests celebrate the holiday season and the successful completion of A Higher Commitment: The Campaign for St. Joseph’s Health, which exceeded its goal of $30,000,000 and raised over $42,000,000 to benefit programs, projects and capital needs across the healthcare system.
