Today we're spotlighting Tanner Slates, Senior Inventory Supervisor supporting LSI's CAL FIRE Aviation Logistics Program.

Since joining LSI in 2008, Tanner has been a key part of the team, helping manage the inventory operations that support one of the nation's largest aerial firefighting programs. His attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to getting the job done right have helped ensure critical parts and materials are available when and where they are needed most.

Known for his reliability, positive attitude, and willingness to help others, Tanner is someone his teammates can always count on. He approaches challenges with a team-first mindset and consistently contributes to the success of both the program and those around him.

Outside of work, Tanner enjoys spending time with his son and pursuing his passion for hunting. Whether at work or in his personal life, he values dedication, responsibility, and making the most of every opportunity.

Today we're spotlighting John Flovin, Industrial Safety & Training Coordinator supporting LSI's CAL FIRE Aviation Logistics Program.

Since joining LSI in 2008, John has played an important role in helping ensure safe operations, effective training programs, and a culture of accountability across the CAL FIRE Aviation Program. His dedication, professionalism, and commitment to the mission have made a lasting impact on both the program and the people he has worked alongside throughout his career.

Known for his reliability, experience, and willingness to share his knowledge with others, John has been a trusted resource and mentor to many team members over the years. His contributions have helped support the success of one of the nation's largest aerial firefighting programs and have left a lasting legacy within LSI.

As John prepares for his retirement this July, we want to congratulate him on an incredible career and thank him for his 17 years of service and dedication to LSI. We wish him all the best in retirement and hope this next chapter is filled with health, happiness, and plenty of time to enjoy the things he loves most.

We're excited to welcome two talented interns to the LSI team this summer in our Washington, DC office!

Chloe and Carley are both students at the University of Utah who bring a strong combination of analytical thinking, creativity, and a passion for making an impact.

Chloe is pursuing a B.S. in Marketing and brings experience working with Executive Education at the University of Utah's business school. She has a strong interest in policy data analysis and using data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and effective marketing initiatives. Outside of work and school, Chloe volunteers with Best Friends Animal Society, enjoys weightlifting, exploring new places, and supporting small businesses.

Carley is pursuing a B.S. in Quantitative Economics with minors in Mathematics and Political Science. She brings experience in consulting, data analytics, and policy research, along with a keen interest in the intersection of business strategy and public policy. Outside of the office, Carley enjoys mountain biking, rock climbing, attending live music events, and backpacking adventures.

Throughout the summer, Chloe and Carley will be supporting projects and initiatives from LSI's Washington, DC office, where they'll gain hands-on experience working alongside our strategy, business development, and consulting teams.

We're thrilled to have Chloe and Carley join LSI and look forward to the energy, fresh perspectives, and innovative thinking they will bring to our team.

His ability to remain calm under pressure, think outside the box, and approach challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset makes him a trusted leader and valued member of the team.

Known for his collaborative approach and genuine care for those around him, Stephen consistently puts people first. Whether supporting customers, mentoring team members, or helping navigate operational challenges, he is always willing to step up and contribute wherever needed. His dedication, professionalism, and team-first attitude help strengthen both our programs and our culture.

Congratulations to Stephen on his recent marriage a week ago! We are excited for him and Amber as they begin this new chapter together and wish them a lifetime of happiness, love, and adventure.
