Relaxing Saturday afternoon doing beadwork and listening to an audio book.These fringes with one color and antique gold edges are simple but super cute and easy to match with your outfit… ill have to do other colors as well.

I’m back. So busy the past couple months witha big move that came on unexpectedly quickly. But now Im settling into the new home, I am able to start creating and posting. I am trying to get jnto a couple of fall and Christmas markets so i can get these cute artsy earring out to ya all.
The newest things Im working on are these beaded rings (with czech crystal) so cute. Cute gift for ring lovers. Theyre slightly adjustable since they are made of memory wire

Its been cold and gloomy out so I am using these days to make pretty little ear adornments. Hand weaving these beads is almost like a relaxing kind of meditation and when its complete i end up with a cute piece with positivity and well wishes incorporated into each bead and strand. Our Story
BACKGROUND
Welcome to Earthly Jewels, a Philippines based craft and handicrafts company owned and run by Pennylynn Ilagan. (You can just call me Penny.)
I grew up in New Jersey and moved to the Philippines almost 10 years ago. I am blessed to be married to a wonderful husband and to be able to stay home to pursue my passion for crafting.
I love everything crafty from jewelry making, quilting, latch hook, photography, sewing, to so much more. I've always loved creating things and that's why I often jump around from craft to craft. What better satisfaction is there to start with raw materials and end up with a beautiful, handcrafted piece of jewelry or clothing or rug...depending on what mood I am in...and I sure am a moody crafter.
Sometimes, I get obsessed with certain materials or colors and create nonstop until I get the mood out of my system.
HOW & WHAT I CREATE
My longest "moods" revolve around beads and jewelry making. I have loved working with beads for over 20 years and make all sorts of jewelry.
I have a pretty good collection of beads from semiprecious stones, glass beads, plastic and acrylic beads, mother of pearl, pearls, and so on. I shop for beads often since, this is the easiest way for me to get inspired. Just being in a beadshop surrounded by millions and millions of colorful, sparkling beads truly gets my creative juices flowing.
My favorite items to create are charm bracelets. I love how I can load it with many beads of assorted colors and personalize them with specific types of charms. I also enjoy wearing them because of the substantial, chunky feel of the weight of the beads and the wonderful wispy sounds that it makes when the beads brush on one another. You have to try it yourself....
I have recently been playing around with wire and wire wrapping and see that it has a lot of possibilities. I hope to learn more and branch out into this category of jewelry.
As an added treat, I often write short verses, poetry or extracts and quotations that inspire me and add them to my product descriptions. These are themes that reflect the items that I create.
WHERE I SELL
I have been selling my items locally here in the Philippines for about eight years. I join a lot of bazaars and craft fairs during Christmas holidays. But, for the most part, I sell to the local market using my website online -earthlyjewels.weebly.com.
I also accept custom orders for Beaded Wedding and Party Giveaways, as well as wholesale/bulk orders.
I have recently started my Etsy shop in the hopes of sharing my creation to more people and to an international audience.
