I know many of you are excited for the Pronut recipe book coming soon. Woohoo!
I also know many of you still want me to make them...I am considering it.
My hubby does sourdough and my friend Carrie Moberg is an amazing baker. If we hosted a porch pop up at my home on a Friday or Saturday morning who would come?? It would kind of be like a farm stand.

If you have been following the recipe videos, you will begin to notice my burger recipes are my favorite meal prep! There are so many different flavor combinations.

These Southwest Turkey Burgers are packed with protein, loaded with flavor, and incredibly easy to make. Juicy turkey, green chiles, pepper jack cheese, and bold southwest seasonings come together for a meal the whole family will love.

Southwest Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

2 lbs ground turkey (or ground chicken)
2 eggs
2–3 Tbsp breadcrumbs (use 3 Tbsp if mixture seems too wet)
1 (4 oz) can diced green chilies, drained
4 oz pepper jack cheese, diced into small cubes
Smoked paprika, to taste
Garlic powder, to taste
Onion powder, to taste
Taco seasoning, to taste
Chili lime seasoning, to taste

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, eggs, breadcrumbs, green chilies, pepper jack cheese, and all seasonings.
Mix until just combined. Avoid over mixing.
Form mixture into 8–9 burger patties.
Place patties on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Serve on buns, lettuce wraps, or over a salad with your favorite southwest toppings.

Optional Toppings

Avocado slices
Pico de gallo
Lettuce and tomato
Greek yogurt ranch
Jalapeños
Fresh cilantro

These would also be fantastic for meal prep and reheat really well throughout the week. 🍔🌶️
