I'm back in Fiji.....first time being back since my Fijian grandma passed away in February. Today our Australia/New Zealand/Fiji group went to her village. I stayed with the group for a bit then I branched out to visit Grandma Sereana's family. In this part of Fiji, doors on a house are wide open. Front, side, back, windows....everything....wide open. I get to the house and just stand there..... no need to knock but I just stood there. The person in the house must have noticed I was blocking the fresh air lol....they stand up and screams....KENNA...
I say yes it's me. We stand there and hug a bit and hug again. It's my Grandma's cousin Verenaisi. In true Fijian culture she was trying to give me food, make tea, etc but I was on a limited time. I sat at the kitchen table where I've ate fish lolo before and other local specialities. The dining room looks into the living room and I'm seeing where I've sat on the floor talking to her. It was such a beautiful moment being able to reflect on her.

Sometimes travel gives you a gem 💎 that will last through your lifetime. I am forever grateful for her seeing through my exterior in December 2017....

It's not for the faint! We will be in Casablanca, Fes, Chefchaoeun, Sahara Desert, Marrakech and other cities. Fly into Casablanca and leave from Casablanca or Marrakech.

Some of the highlights will be Chefchaoeun which is the infamous Blue City. The sights, smells and sounds of the medina in Marrakech. The lure of some of the best chicken I've ever had in Fes plus all of the leather goods you'd ever want! Sleeping in the Sahara Desert in a luxurious tent with air conditioning and heat plus hot shower and a toilet...we can't wait to see you wake up to the beautiful sunrise over the sand dunes of the desert! The moment we see the famous casbah...in all of it's glory! Those of you who love fashion, we'll be checking out the Yves Saint Laurent museum plus his private garden.



There's so much to say but this trip is already one of my favorites! If you didn't see a koala yesterday was yesterday even a day? This is probably in the top 3 of my favorite trips.. Australia/New Zealand/Fiji got to love it! We're here in Sydney now having a blast!
