She was so thoughtful to bring Kyle, Parker, and I snacks from Murtle's Handmade Chocolates 😍♥️ And even brought the dogs treats too 😭😭
We had the chance to go LIVE and do some makeup together. Then Kyle insisted that we go out and grab food and drinks. 😂 We usually just couch date it (which is my main type of hanging out most days) but it was fun to get dolled up and get out of the house for a bit.
Kendra is 7 years younger than me. When we first met, it was after she invited me to do a pop up shop with my online boutique in her storefront. We immediately connected and I could just tell she had such a genuine heart & spirit about her.
It’s been a few years that we’ve known each other now and our mutual love for makeup & style may have originally been what brought us together…but I’ve learned we have a lot more in common. I was surprised because I definitely feel like the old lady in the room! 😂😂 I’m not exactly the “fun” friend these days, but Kendra never minds any of that.
It’s really cool when you can connect with friends on a deeper level. We literally spent hours talking about our spirituality and beliefs and different experiences we’ve had in regards to that. I opened up about my postpartum struggles and we talked about our families. **Fun Fact: We found out our grandmothers were coworkers and ended up good friends that did Bible studies weekly together when our moms were kids!** Before we knew it we looked at our phones and it was 4am. 😂😂🙈
I’m still catching up on my sleep today but it was totally worth it to have some quality time with this beautiful girl! Very grateful to have this ray of sunshine in my life.
