General Responsibility: To read and interpret technical blueprints, inputting the design specifications, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product. Completing routine maintenance and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.

Essential Functions:
Responsibilities of the CNC Programmer will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models
• Load raw materials onto the CNC machine
• Input product design into the computer modeling software
• Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job
• Adjusting machine setting to the desired product specs
• Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process
• Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing process
• Cleaning and performing maintenance on the machine
• Training new staff on machine operation procedures
• Perform quality assurance tests to ensure product meets design specifications

General Responsibility: Producing, designing, and crafting all parts (fiberglass, gelcoats, and/or molds) products to meet company specifications and standards. Specifically to analyze specifications, lay out metal stock, set up and operate machine tools and fit and assemble parts to make and repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges and machinists’ hand tools.

Essential Functions:
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Studies specifications such as sketches, models, or descriptions and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts
• Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machine, shaper, and grinder, to machine parts and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications
• Verifies dimensions, alignments and clearances
• Examines standard or previously used dies, tools, and jigs and fixtures, and recommends design modifications regarding construction and function part
• Develops specifications from general descriptions for specialty tools and draws or sketches design of product
• Inspects finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity and defects
• Conduct test runs with completed tools or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications, making adjustments as necessary
• File, grind, shim and adjust different parts to properly fit them together
• Assists in control of materials used
• Ability to read and understand prints
• Ability to read and understand and adhere to Production Schedule
• Ability to work in dusty environment
• Ability to work in a hot environment
• Knowledge of hazardous chemical handling and disposal
