Prepping is a MUST for painting! We're working outside on this beautiful day, prepping my own home for a fresh coat of paint.

We bought this home earlier this year, and have been doing little projects to fix her up during any breaks between clients. Luckily, there haven't been many breaks!! So we're putting our all into it over the next couple days to get it all spiffed up before the next gig starts.

A little home project to make the wife happy (and myself 😅). Took care of our little side porch that has been an eye sore for months, just needed a little stain (and a bit of elbow grease) and it looks new again.

Have you ever gone with the cheaper option, and later wound up disappointed and having to pay someone else to fix what the last guy did?

While I was working on another exterior project a few doors down about a week ago, I was approached by this client who asked me to take a look at her exterior. This client had her home painted 2 years ago, and unfortunately they did not treat her or her siding right. As shown in the before photos below, there was large amounts of chipping, peeling, and buckling all over her home as a direct result of improper prep work. Unfortunately, this is something I see a lot of in my line of work and it is not right or fair to the clients.

Luckily, I was able to take a look and provide an estimate for her which she accepted, and I completed the necessary repairs and finishes to bring her home back to life.

Log built homes are a beauty all on their own, but many homeowners don't know that they are a labor of love. Every 4-5 years, a log home should be resealed and clear coated to prevent weather damage and keep the bugs out.
We had the opportunity this week to work with some outstanding clients on their impeccably maintained Amish built home in Mt. Pleasant. We powerwashed, prepped, stained, did some minor repair work, and clear coated the entire body of the home, including soffits and fascia.
The shine that this baby gives off now is incredible, and she'll be good to go for another 4-5 years 😊.

Another great job in the books, this one was a solid stain on the siding and soffits using Woodscapes Refresh from Sherwin Williams. We also painted the front door and garage door, tying everything together. These clients were terrific and we can't wait to work with them on their interior in the future.

Took the old kitchen cabinets and made them look new. A wonderful turnout for our wonderful clients 😀 .
