Jenny Cunnyngham from Studio 208 Bags wanted a beautiful bag. However living with chronic pain made finding a bag that was comfortable to carry for extended periods a challenge. So she rolled up her sleeves and decided to make her own using lightweight but sturdy leather and without heavy hardware. Pretty soon, her beautiful design had people asking where they could get their own. So she decided to open up her business and leather studio in Galena, Mo.

Now, her work is available at markets like Broken Oak Barn Sale in Rolla and Sale at the Silo in Owensville. Her product offerings have expanded from her lightweight bags designed for people with chronic pain to all people. You can also purchase her bags and other leather goods on her website, Studio208.co.

This represents so much more than just this—

It represents that we had a super successful day for our Inaugural *Sale at the Silo*

It displays that these vendors were blown away by the love and support of the guest that showed up and supported their small businesses!

I remember one of the sweet ladies telling me, “My husband said he would be shocked if we sold any food way out here!”

I’m so happy that he was just as shocked as I was!!! 🤍🤍🤍

I made my very first social media post for vendors exactly —-ONE YEAR AGO—-

I had been pondering all these ideas for quite some time and I was ready to go public with it!
Lots of sleepless nights and hard work for many!!
I took one of the scariest leaps and hosted the outdoor market!
My husband was right behind me every step of the way!!
Although, I think he questioned me a few times. 🧐

We ended up accepting 55 of the very best vendors to join us on the farm
(in 5 short months!!)

I wouldn’t change a thing about how it all turned out. Well maybe a few….. More portable restrooms!! Haha! That’s definitely on our list!
