While the social media age definitely had its challenges for artists, overall I'm not going to complain too much. We have an unprecedented level of reach and so many more opportunities to talk to people directly.
If you are new to my work, in this video I am applying ink to expose the craze lines in the white glaze. Then I am applying grout which fills in the lines that I carved into the clay that make the design.
Many people have asked to see a side by side of a before and after of me inking and grouting one of my pots. How about a live split screen of the process!

Black Ink and Black Grout are the last things I apply to my pots before they are all done. This process gives my pieces their one of a kind look.
When you have a sticky lid, all you need is some valve grinding compound and rudimentary DJ skills 😉

Trimming some k***s for jar lids. I throw the k**b as a rough shape then trim it down. Then the k***s fit into the lid and get permanently fixed by glaze.
