Thanks to Sacred Heart Parish and Sacred Heart Council Knights of Columbus Osage Iowa for having us and everyone in the Osage community who came out on Saturday's fundraiser!

With dozens of our upcoming fundraisers and other events postponed due to COVID-19, we look forward to returning to doing what we love after things calm down. In the meantime, stay safe and stay tuned for some upcoming Facebook Live music sessions!

KC members Christmas party starts at 5:30 at the Columbus Club. The meal will be served at 6:30. Spouses are welcome and families of deceased members are invited. Serving pork loin, cheesy potatoes, salad, vegetables, roll and dessert. Adults cost is $10. You can bring your young children for $6.

Sacred Heart KC Council will celebrate their annual Memorial Mass for deceased members on Monday November 1, 6 p.m. at Sacred Heart church. Father Burkle will officiate. We especially remember our Brothers who passed away this past year, Kenny Goodale, Clem Hemann and Larry Goergen. We also remember all those who have gone before us since the council began in 1956. Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon.

Family and friends of all deceased members of the Sacred Heart Council are invited to attend mass. A chili supper prepared by Father Burkle will be served in the parish hall following mass. Everyone is invited to attend mass and supper.

Memorial Mass for our deceased members will be at KC monthly meeting is Monday November 2 at 6:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Mass is open to the public and will be live streamed on Father Burkle’s page. All deceased members will be honored, but especially Herbert F. Johanns, Jr., Clarence P. Ginder, and Larry R. Phearman who have passed in the past year.

regular meeting will follow at the church. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we will not have our soup supper after mass.

First of all: to all those people who ordered fish meals from Knights of Columbus, thank you very much for your support. We hope you you enjoyed your meals. Thank you to those who made very kind remarks about the meals. Thanks for your understanding and patience. 🙂🙂🙂

Second of all: thanks to the volunteers, Knights and their spouses who stepped up at a difficult time and performed a task made more difficult because of the circumstance. Their extra effort provided a service at the time the community needed it. It took extra planning and innovation to deliver. 👍👍👍

Lets hope we don’t have to do this again.

Last week we served 120 meals. We apologize for the salad and side containers. The ones we were given tended to lose their lids in transport. We will not be using those this week. Remember you cannot get in the Columbus Club because it’s locked to the public

Your response was overwhelming, and we are very happy to provide this service when you need it most.

We had 139 meals go out tonight which was an amazing response for our to-go meals. We appreciate your response and support. Unfortunately we had 80 meals more than we expected, since our last dine-in fish fry was 75 people. We apologize for the long wait and understand that your waiting was frustrating. We learned a lot from our initial run. We will make adjustments to improve our delivery time next week. We want to thank those generous people who threw in extra cash. We got $60 in donations. We hope to see you next week.

We will bring the TO-GO meals to your car. This will comply with the 10 people restriction (as long as you bring less than 10 people in the car with you) Any questions call 641-732-4492 between 9 a.m and 7 p.m. daily.

The dinners will have 6 pieces of Fried fish or 3 filets of baked fish, your choice of baked potato or mashed, baked beans, 2 servings, choice of coleslaw or cottage cheese, two slices of plain or garlic French bread, two containers of tartar sauce. We are not offering drinks nor utensil.
