Serving of Fish dinners by Sacred Heart Knights of Columbus at Columbus Club starts at 5:00 pm Friday nights starting on February 25 Through Good Friday. Meals may be obtained until 7 pm. by drive up service.

Friday night February 25 Fish Fry meal at KC Columbus Club. Serving 5:00 pm to 7 p.m. available by drive up. No need to call in an order. The meal will include fried pollack, baked potato, baked beans, coleslaw, and garlic bread. We will not have substitutes. Enter the east parking lot from State St and stop at the east side door to request your meal. Baked fish is also available. $12.

Fish Fries begin Friday February 25 at 5:30 p.m. serving until 7:00 p.m. We will be serving every Friday through lent including Good Friday. This will be take-out only. No need to call and place an order. Every meal will be the same. Pollack, deep fried or baked, baked potato, baked beans, coleslaw and garlic bread. KC members Christmas party starts at 5:30 at the Columbus Club. The meal will be served at 6:30. Spouses are welcome and families of deceased members are invited. Serving pork loin, cheesy potatoes, salad, vegetables, roll and dessert. Adults cost is $10. You can bring your young children for $6.

Sacred Heart KC Christmas party will be Monday night Dec 6, feast day of St Nicholas, Bishop of Myra. I understand he mamay provide some treats at the party. Pork Loin is on the menu.

Sacred Heart KC Council will celebrate their annual Memorial Mass for deceased members on Monday November 1, 6 p.m. at Sacred Heart church. Father Burkle will officiate. We especially remember our Brothers who passed away this past year, Kenny Goodale, Clem Hemann and Larry Goergen. We also remember all those who have gone before us since the council began in 1956. Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon.

Family and friends of all deceased members of the Sacred Heart Council are invited to attend mass. A chili supper prepared by Father Burkle will be served in the parish hall following mass. Everyone is invited to attend mass and supper.

Saturday night August 14 — Sacred Heart Knights of Columbus members are offering a Sweet Corn Supper on August 14 at the Columbus Club. Serving 5:00pm to 7:00pm. All you care to eat with fresh sweet corn drenched in butter, burgers with fixings, chips, bars & beverage. Free will offering. All are welcome.

The Sacred Heart Knights will have there first drive by fish fry take away Friday February 12. Pre-order is required. Details to come.

Memorial Mass for our deceased members will be at KC monthly meeting is Monday November 2 at 6:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Mass is open to the public and will be live streamed on Father Burkle’s page. All deceased members will be honored, but especially Herbert F. Johanns, Jr., Clarence P. Ginder, and Larry R. Phearman who have passed in the past year.

regular meeting will follow at the church. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we will not have our soup supper after mass.

Second of all: thanks to the volunteers, Knights and their spouses who stepped up at a difficult time and performed a task made more difficult because of the circumstance. Their extra effort provided a service at the time the community needed it. It took extra planning and innovation to deliver. 👍👍👍

We had 139 meals go out tonight which was an amazing response for our to-go meals. We appreciate your response and support. Unfortunately we had 80 meals more than we expected, since our last dine-in fish fry was 75 people. We apologize for the long wait and understand that your waiting was frustrating. We learned a lot from our initial run. We will make adjustments to improve our delivery time next week. We want to thank those generous people who threw in extra cash. We got $60 in donations. We hope to see you next week.

The dinners will have 6 pieces of Fried fish or 3 filets of baked fish, your choice of baked potato or mashed, baked beans, 2 servings, choice of coleslaw or cottage cheese, two slices of plain or garlic French bread, two containers of tartar sauce. We are not offering drinks nor utensil.

We appreciate all the attention people are giving to our plan for providing a Friday fish meal service to our community. We believe since people are confined to home generally this will provide a welcome service.
