Nothing like a beautiful Sunday surrounded by the people who mean the most to me. This right here is everything. I donāt take any of it for granted. Being a husband and a father is the greatest thing Iāve ever been called to do, and days like this remind me why I protect this peace with everything I have. Family isnāt just who youāre born into itās the love you choose to show up for, every single day. Grateful doesnāt even scratch the surfaceš¤
Making waffles with my little ones is one of my favorite things to do as a dad. š«¶š¾

Nobody told me this before I had a daughter. Having a daughter changes you in ways nobody warns you about. Itās not just the pink everything or the hair bows you never knew how to tie, itās the quiet moments where she reaches for your hand and suddenly you understand what it means to be someoneās whole world. Being a girl dad isnāt a title, itās a calling.
Sheās watching everything I do. The way I treat her mom, the way I handle hard days, the way I show up even when Iām tired. I donāt take that lightly. My job isnāt just to protect her itās to show her what she deserves. And Iāll spend the rest of my life making sure she knows exactly how much sheās worth.

I try my best to remind myself that one of the most powerful things I can give my kids doesnāt cost a thing. the vacations, the clothes the toys are nice but just me sitting on the floor, fully present, with nowhere else to be. Thatās everything. We live in a world thatās always pulling at your attention. Another notification. Another obligation. Another reason to be somewhere other than right here. But our kids probably wonāt remember all of the stuff we bought them. They will remember when we showed up. When we put the phone down. When we said āletās goā and we just⦠went.
Fatherhood taught me that time is the only currency that actually matters. And every moment I invest in them is a moment they carry into who they become.
So yeah my most important meeting of the day? Itās whatever they want to do after school. Be present, dads. The season is shorter than it looks.
As a dad, family movie nights are one of my favorite nights of the weekš«¶š¾

Dad raising kids the old school way catching bugs, toys outside, no screens. Just pure imagination and good old fashioned fun. This is what childhood is supposed to look like.š«¶š¾
