I'm almost done with the 2nd sleeve (now that I found the yarn I forgot when I went to Charlotte)
I am SO excited for this beauty to be finished!

Pattern is Joyce Cardigan, though I'm HEAVILY modifying the sleeves.

I used some of the weird colors from the Iron Tangle, including Zomp, Grullo, Puce, and Mindaro among others.

Plan is to update the DCC yarn photos and the 2 other brand new colorways first thing tomorrow! (Wanted to do it today but got back home and immediately had to take my 5 year old ginger menace to the vet)

I am apparently incapable of actually remembering to bring all the things I need when I go on a trip. In this case, I forgot the heel/toe skein at home.
I brought one other project with me, wanna take bets on whether I have everything to work on that one?

Dungeon Crawler Carl inspired colorway! When I saw all the weird colors Matt mentioned in the Iron Tangle I knew it had to be a colorway. Had to. No other option!

5 hours later and the booth is all set up! We're at Southern Comforts Fiber Festival tomorrow and Saturday at 604 Doug Mayes Pl, Charlotte, NC 28262 from 10am to 5 pm!

There's some pretty major road construction happening right outside the building, so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get there and be careful!

At least I won at yarn chicken with my shawl! Too bad I didn't finish it in time to block it before the show (damn I shoulda brought pins...)

Pattern is Tidal by Nova Ryks-Robinsky (who is a genius and has an entire ebook of shawls using self striping yarns)
Yarn is my own self striping in the Progesterone colorway (purple/pink) and the speckle is the Enchant colorway by the amazingly talented Casual Fashion Queen • Sheena

I'm thrilled with how it came out and will post better pictures once she's had her bath!
