The Festival of the Holidays at EPCOT always brings some of my favorite things of the year. Food, Lights and the Candlelight Processional. This year I was able to attend the Candlelight Processional twice with Ashley Eckstein and Henry Winkler as the hosts which also meant eating at two different restaurants as we were able to get dining package reservations.

Things I learned: bread pudding and sticky toffee pudding are not for me.

The Gingerbread Carmel cookie from the Caramel shop in Germany is the best treat (always opt for the gingerbread one when available the snickerdoodle one is too sweet)

Part of the new fave of the podcast and Creating Magic is brining you more park content, I’ve always joked about wanting to eat at every restaurant at Disney and just maybe I will start working on that goal. This podcast is on a budget, we do this for fun so when the budget allows we will bring you some of the things we try.

Thoughts on the food we had for Festival of the Holidays:

Rose and Crown: Delicious, but Florida weather is not always the best for the heavier meals, if you get a cold day the Shepard’s Pie is amazing

The Pimm’s Drink is the perfect refreshing drink

Coral Reef: The Surf and turf is really good, I always feel weird eating seafood as there’s Wars me from the tank🐠

What are your favorite park restaurants?

The holiday season is upon us and one of the most go places is at when Christmas takes over Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar

New year, new adventures! As we head into 2026 we are ready to bring back Creating Magic with a few changes!

We would like to expand out hosts and add a video and conversational element, we want to be in covering theme parks and we’d travel a lot more, think experiences, conventions, panels you would usually see at conventions. We want to bring them to you with multiple perspectives.

The Young Jedi Adventures Season 3 returns today on . Sad that this is where our story ends, it looks like in episode one we return to Batuu so here’s a throw back from previous seasons of our Batuu adventures and expect more coming soon!
