ART OF ME

Tonight this painting joins the Pink Martini Party at Aloft Downtown, raising hope and healing for the American Cancer Society.

Unfortunately, I can’t make it tonight but my art’s already mingle…alongside some very creative company!

So much talent in Orlando! I'm grateful to be a part of such a beautiful exhibition.

“By Threes” I am not the me I once was nor the me I will be. Yet they tend to consume as if they are all that I can be.

On a sunny cool day. I swung among the trees. A pretty green bird flew to a branch above. Fearless and curious he seemed to be yet I was too distracted to notice. Vibrant green body with deep blue tale, head tilted he stared back as if I was just as pretty. Only when he swooped down did I grow weary of his intentions. His landing, on my back was quite alarming. He waited for me to calm then walked to my shoulder. Here, perched on my shoulder is all he wanted. Dream clearly and vividly. Until you have no doubt. Until you can feel how you will feel when it is yours. Until the feeling is strong enough to carry you through the journey. Shut out any "what ifs" of failures. Allow every opportunity to become your experience. Let the leverage of knowing of whats to come lift you from losses. Relish in the little moments that get you closer. Attract your desire with love and the simple joy of life . Chase your dream as if time and money have no hold and as if you only have one life to achieve this goal.
