🦊It's FOX DAY for Rollins College! 🦊

Happy celebrating to all the Tars out there 👏👏

Fox Day is a tradition that dates back to 1956, when President Hugh McKean surprised students and staff with a day off.

Every year, the college president chooses the perfect sunny day to celebrate. The students have NO idea when the special day is coming, though. Fox Day is announced when a fox statue appears on Tar Plaza that morning. Fox Day did not occur during the height of the Vietnam War but was reinstated in 1978.

In current times, students can watch a live stream of the plaza and wait for the big announcement.

🚴 🐸 "Real-life Frogger” Game?

Kids on e-bikes in Flagler County were allegedly weaving in and out of traffic and damaging property at a park in Palm Coast.

Deputies say a large group of middle school boys was causing mischief at Holland Park around noon on April 3.

Reports from the Flagler County Sherrif’s Office stated that 30 kids were riding electric bikes across the park grounds, damaging the lawn, and playing in traffic nearby. Deputies said some boys broke a changing table and were also climbing onto the roof of a park structure

👉Message from FCSO: “Parents, this is your friendly reminder: if your child left the house saying they were “just going to the park,” you might want to follow up on that. Holland Park is for picnics and play—not junior varsity parkour, demolition practice, or audition tapes for “Impractical Jokers: The Next Generation.”

If you recognize your aspiring stuntmen, we encourage you to have a chat… before we do.”

🚀 A STATEMENT ON JOY: Victor Glover is barreling through space, far away from his wife and four daughters on Earth.

From a new perspective— distanced from life as we know it—he shares his thoughts on humanity.

“Our purpose on the planet as humans is to find joy, to find the joy in lifting each other up by creating solutions together instead of destroying. When you see it from out here, it doesn’t change it. It just absolutely reaffirms that. It’s almost like seeing living proof of it.”

🙏 The Artemis II crew is scheduled to splash down off the coast of San Diego at 8:07 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time this Friday. The crew will depend on the heat shield to protect the capsule as it journeys through Earth's atmosphere and faces temperatures of nearly 5,000 degrees Fahrenheit. The crew will be traveling at speeds of around 25,000 mph.

"We have to get back. There's so much data that you've already seen, but all the good stuff is coming back with us," Glover said.

🚨Parents and Grandparents: Recall Alert!

Over 250,000 furniture restraint kits may not be safe, according to a Consumer Product Safety Commission recall.

The commission stated that the restraints could break or weaken, resulting in furniture tipping over. These kits were listed as “4our Kiddies Plastic Tip Restraint Kits” and were sold on Amazon between June 2019 and January 2026.

So far, the CPSC has received at least 150 reported incidents involving these kits, three of which involved furniture tipping over.

Let’s celebrate the little wins—what blessed you this week? 💛👇

Here's mine: It was a very Good Friday, my friends. I got home to find my Plumbago plants with blooms for the first time. I always grew up with a large Plumbago shrub in my front yard in Key West. I knew that at our family's first home, we should have them too in our front yard 🙏

Plus, bunnies, chickens, and goats arrived today at the Fox35 studio! Thank you to the Barnyard Bunch mobile petting zoo. You brought us such joy today! We loved seeing our producers, anchors, and directors holding your pets...especially the ducks 🤣 FOX 35 Orlando

🐛Have you seen them? These Tussok Moth Caterpillars are crawling all over Central Florida.

👇We saw this guy on a picnic table at Jeremiah's (along with about 50 other friends). As my son said, "Scary, Mama!"

The furry caterpillars are not poisonous or venomous, according to the CDC. However, the hairs can be irritating to your skin and cause a rash. So, the CDC advises you not to touch them!

👇 Drivers Spread the Word 👇

❌ Scam court notices like this one are making the rounds in states across the country—Florida, Massachusetts, New York, Michigan, and more.

👇Scammers sent these counterfeit documents to Florida drivers. It appears to be an official court notice, but this document is a FAKE attempting to solicit money.

‼️The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) said the paper reads "Notice of Default" and "Enforcement Action Initiated." The flyers closely resemble real government documents with fabricated case numbers.

🤨 So, what's the catch? The scammers ask people to scan the QR code to pay up for alleged parking or toll violations.

👉A Reminder from FLHSMV: "Residents are reminded that official government entities do not request payment through QR codes, third‑party links, or unverified online platforms."
