Played Interlachen today and on the 14th hole I flew one in the hole from 321, it bounced out to 5 feet then knocked it in for eagle.

Such a fun day, thank you Steve!

This Scotty Cameron Phantom 5.5 refinishing project was a ton of fun! .critchett did a great job planning out his color scheme. Tungsten, Burnt Bronze and Gun Metal Bronze (71%29% mix of the two) gave this Scotty an awesome and unique look.

If you feel like your favorite putter needs a facelift, shoot me a message and let’s get started!

Had a friend reach out with a refinishing project. This beautiful Circa #5 had seen some rough times...

Buffed out the bag chatter and rust, then a chemical blackening agent was applied to the carbon steel and sealed with a clear flat sealer.

Topped it off with a MAX grip. I have wanted to try this grip out for some time and I'm glad I did. It has a great design that encourages your forearms to fall in a comfortable/relaxed position for putting. I will be using a lot more of these in the future.

First plumber neck attempt…

Took an old center shaft that was in my ā€œwhoopsieā€ pile, milled out a piece of aluminum to fill the shaft hole in the top line, beat it flush with a hammer, then refinished the head with black cerakote.

Milled out a plumber neck and gave it some new life. Working on an official plumber neck blade design currently.

I’ll need a TIG welder in the near future, but for the time being a socket screw will do the trick.

I have way too much fun playing around in the workshop šŸ˜Ž

I was lucky enough to be asked by my friend Leslie to participate in the inaugural Tee Off For Parkinson Association of Central Florida fundraising golf tournament a couple weeks back. Tournament was excellent in every way and raised a ton of money for a great cause!

J Putters provided two putters to be given to the closest to the pin contest winner. I loved taking the time to make each putter as special as I could for the event.

Hope to be a part of next years event!

Been experimenting with different finishes and have found a new one that I really like! The finish created by Sur Fin Chemical NI-Bronze-50 brush on for stainless steel has turned out well with several test runs and is now ready for the wild. If interested, please check out the link to my website in the bio.
