Girlhood is pretending to be fairies, princesses, knights, witches, wolves, horses, warrior cats, pirates, mermaids with your friends. Womanhood is the realization that you can, and should, keep the same fantastical whimsy in your heart for as long as possible. 🧜‍♀️✨️
Of all those pretend creatures, nautical stuff like mermaids and pirates would never have been at the top of my list... However. I think I may have been missing out as a kid. I can see the vision more now thank you .grimes_ .fox 💕
