I know we’re all struggling right now, many having lost their jobs and not knowing how to make ends meet, and we’ve heard of a lot of ugliness out there. But it’s people like this that give you hope! 🤎

The new and fun techniques. ✨ The cakes doused in gold leaf.
The cakes dripping with chocolate and garnished with sprinkles. 🧁
But this is where my cake baking started. Cakes covered in fake dirt. Cakes that go vroom vroom. Cakes garnished with Mickey ears. Cakes that make little eyes light up. It really doesn’t get better than that. 💕 ______________________________________
Also, this cake is 100% sugar free and gluten free. So you can have your cake and eat it too. 😋

Lumberjack cake

Fun story: When my nephew, Josiah, turned one, I made him a huge elaborate number one cake, with all the bells and whistles, and sprinkles a kid could ask for. Well. He didn’t want anything to do with it 😂. 🍭
Because he discovered cakepops. And he fell in love. I had added some cakepops to the cake display and he didn’t need anything else thereafter. 🍭
As he got older and started talking he would perk right up with a smile and say, “ohh la la, cakepop” whenever he’d get a cakepop. It was the cutest thing ever! 🍭
Ever since he’s coined the phrase, we’ve had deep discussions of opening a cakepop shop and calling it “Ohh la la Cakepop. “ 🍭
Our business plan includes tying balloons to his belt loops and having him running around yelling “Ohh la la cakepops” as loud as possible. So you know we’re basically gonna be an overnight success 🤓 🍭
