Today’s 10hr started out beautiful, 30 minutes after we made that 40 mile run a squall blew up on us with hurricane force winds! Needless to say there were a few hats, glasses and probably a few more things that got blown off the boat. It got pretty nautical and lots of rain too boot lol. We made it happen and it eventually calmed down to give us a nice ride home.
I’ve been missing this view! We went out to caught some bait for tomorrow’s 10hr trip, good lord willing we will make our 9th trip of the Year in the morning. Hard to believe that I’m saying that we’ve only ran 8 trips all year. Normally by now we’ve ran 50 trips already and it’s kinda got me scratching my head seeing all the new boats fishing every day. As for why? My best guess is the Third Party booking sights have taken over the market. They operate on a pay to play basis, meaning if I pay them a large percentage they will book me trips. Be careful guys and gals as to where you book your trips, they might be advertised as the best and they might actually be, but most likely they’re paying to be promoted as the best. Love you guys and I’m excited for the upcoming year! Just remember it’s always best to book straight through the captain or their website!

We have availability still in June, July August, September and October for red snapper! Season opens 6/1 and closes 10/26 and it’s our longest season since the early 2000’s. Most captains in our area nowadays haven’t been in business long enough to remember the glory days, but I sure do

This trip is valued at $1,600 and can be upgraded to a longer trip for the additional cost. Tip and fish cleaning are not included in the raffle and will be extra.
