I’m terrible at keeping flowers alive, but I love looking at them.

I’ve been looking up inspirational flower quotes and adding them to my floral sketches. They’re kind of cheesy, but I like them and they give me hope during these weird times.

I realized I’d been putting too much pressure on myself to create. That caused me to completely put off any type of art at all. I’m vowing to myself to practice and have fun with art and not strive to be perfect or “insta-worthy”.

I just opened back up ‘s Modern Florals practice book and just trying! Illustrations have never been my strong suit, but her book makes it so easy to draw florals!
