So proud of this little lady! She made the choice to stop sucking her thumb. It's tough, but when provided with the right tools it's easier and kiddos can be successful. WAY TO GO!!

DITCH THE SIPPY CUP TO ENHANCE YOUR CHILD’S GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT

I am a parent! Before I was educated on sippy cups I was guilty! Hey, they are simple! They are convenient!

Life is messy enough…who doesn’t love something that promises not to leave a mess!

Unfortunately and unknowingly these cups may be harming your child’s development. We currently live in an epidemic of airway deficient children who have jaws and orofacial structures that are not optimal. It is important for us to do everything we can do to improve our child’s development.

So…you can do this….
IT’S TIME TO DITCH THE SIPPY. YES, THIS INCLUDES THE 360 CUP!

It may not be easy, but won’t be as bad as you think.
Here are some tips and tricks to ditch the sippy:
1) Pick a location where drinks are to be kept in the home.
2) Pick a time to practice
3) Practice with water. That way if there are spills they aren't sticky.
4) Start with a very small cup, like the 2 ounce bathroom cups.

While the following cups aren't completely spill proof, they are ones that I like. They decrease the flow of liquids and help to encourage better development of muscles. They have lids, but if your child throws them of is tricky they can get them off. So beware:)
