I'm struggling mightily with seed starting this year. The swings between "too dry" and "absolutely covered in mold" are wild and unrelenting. If we're lucky, one of these plants will survive until adulthood 😅

My brother built me this perfect little custom catio to fit Thea's window! It's super sturdy, and I love that it's so easy for her to go in and out when the weather is nice (and without letting bugs in). So far, Thea is a big fan of being able to stalk birds and squirrels and enjoy the fresh air. We're very excited to keep using this as the spring weather continues 🌞

Apparently capybaras are still having a moment, and I'm okay with it. Where in my home should I add a capybara with slightly confrontational posture?? I'm thinking at the front door, as a guard dog substitute 🤔

and I recently celebrated our third wedding anniversary 🖤 We decided to try gluten free baklava for the first time to celebrate, and .bakery knocked it out of the park. The classic walnut version is incredible. I can't wait to try the pistachio!
(Thea was just upset I didn't let her eat my piece.)

Tried cyanotype printing for the first time last week 💙
It was so much simpler than I expected, which made the process really fun and a lot more freeing than other types of printmaking I've tried. I can totally see myself doing more of this in the future!
