I’m atoning for the crappy Midjourney stuff I generated back in 2022 (and there was a LOT of it) by making lots of unassisted visual art this year. First up: meditation on Isaiah 9 (his hand is stretched out still).
This was made with video feedback via QuickTime with iPhone input. I noodled for a few seconds and curated this and a couple other frames. Apple’s weird automatic video denoising does cool things to the feedback layers. It’s clearly not the “real” analogue thing, but it’s a vibe. IMO it would’ve looked better with something other than my phone camera driving it, but it’s what I had.
