Rabbi G was honored with giving the invocation at today's Memorial Day March.

Let's take a moment to remember and memorialize the brave servicemen and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.
In Judaism we know that the soul lives on through the actions of us down here.
Make a point to do an extra mitzvah today whether it be Teffilin, Torah Study or reach out to a friend who you know could use it.
By living as proud Jewish Americans we ensure their sacrifices weren’t in vain.
Have a meaningful and thankful Memorial Day.

Today we celebrated the beautiful mitzvah of Kibbud Av V’Em – honoring our amazing moms and dads!

We had so much fun:
• Creating heartfelt cards
• Making delicious chocolate lollipops
• prepping a delicious cookie recipe to bake with mom
• Starting our very own “Honor Jar” – each time we show respect and listen, we add to the jar until it overflows with mitzvot!

We’re so proud of our kind hearts and helping hands!

As we head into the first Shabbat after Passover, there’s a beautiful custom called shlissel challah🔑

The key shaped challah is representative of opening the gates of heaven and asking G-D to bless us with livelihood and abundance of good!

This week at RCS everyone got the opportunity to make their own shlissel challah!

We had an incredible uplifting experience today. We went to the Ohel, the resting place of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. I was so impressed with the teens maturity and sensitivity. We had great discussions and prayed for our families and our brothers and sisters in Israel. We discussed Yom Hashoa- Holocaust Remeberance Day and how the Rebbe turned a dark depressing time for world Jewry into a beacon of light around the world with over 6,000 Chabads. We ended off the night with delicious pizza!
