Jessy Empanadas is excited to announce its return to the Babylon Village Farmers Market for the 2025 season.
Growing up in Lima, Peru, Jessy fondly recalls her two grandmothers crafting the most scrumptious desserts and pastries, using recipes handed down through generations, each with a unique style and unmistakable Peruvian flavor. At the age of seventeen, Jessy relocated to New York City, where she encountered a variety of delightful American desserts. Throughout her journey, much like a well-blended pastry, she harmonized her Peruvian heritage with her new life in New York, creating a beautiful fusion of both worlds. With Jessy's Pastries, she aims to share the sweetest treats from her childhood along with her current favorites from her new home. Jessy provides an array of baked empanadas featuring various fillings, including beef, chicken, beans, and vegan alternatives.
