When making New Year's Resolutions try to include at least one parenting resolution on your list. Children spell love T-I-M-E - so scheduling daily special time together could be high on the list. Let your child choose an activity for 10 - 15 minutes with no interruptions - no phone, text, cooking, laundry. This regular opportunity to spend focused, uninterrupted time together pays dividends long term. Try it.
