The Oceanside Community Warriors held a clothing and food drive this morning at the VFW to support our Baldwin neighbors who were victims of last week’s apartment fire. Thank you to everyone who donated — your generosity means so much.
For those still looking to help, please reach out directly to the Baldwin Lions Club for ways to contribute.
Oceanside Community Warriors remain committed to making our town a better place, one step at a time. We’re grateful we could be a small part of bringing some comfort and normalcy to those affected.

The Warriors Community Drive for Fire Relief
The Warriors have teamed up with Oceanside Moms, Oceanside VFW, Baldwin Lions Club, and Feed LI to support the families displaced by the devastating building fire last week.
📍 Location: Oceanside VFW
📅 Date: Sunday, July 6
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
We’re collecting the following urgently needed items:
• Clothing and Shoes (all sizes)
• Blankets & bedding
• Toiletries & hygiene products
• Non-perishable food
• Gift cards (grocery stores, pharmacies, general stores)
Let’s come together as a community and support our neighbors in their time of need. Every donation makes a difference. 💙

Yesterday, the community came together to lend a helping hand to the oldest standing church in Oceanside — the historic First Presbyterian Church.
With teamwork and heart, we gave the grounds a quick but meaningful cleanup. Big thanks to Commissioner Morgan and Oceanside Sanitation for their support and for promptly picking everything up this morning.
This is what community is all about — preserving our history and working together to keep Oceanside beautiful.
