Does anyone know if either the campus in Oakdale or the NAT Center are available for events? I’m trying to figure out where to do a retirement ceremony. Any intel would be most appreciated!! Thanks!!!
Dear Karl, We are so sorry to have been caught up in the news of the day we inadvertently neglected to send you a birthday card - however, all the best wishes are enveloped in this short note for health and happiness to you and JoAnn always. We love you both with all our heart. John and Josemarie
Our once beautiful campus is falling apart. The Oakdale Historical Society needs our help.
Please read and take a look at the pictures. Mercury International, the company who bought the estate, has stopped funding the maintenance of the property in the following ways:
• They have discontinued security at the mansion completely! This has resulted in kids hanging out in the parking lots, the water edge and most shockingly, the steps of the mansion itself.
• They have allowed an abandoned car to remain at the rear of the property. Vandalized by kids, this eyesore remains as a testament to the poor job security was doing.
• A multitude of fallen trees, branches of considerable width and length are littering the property.
• While the “lawn” is mowed, the edging is not maintained and grasses (at times almost 2 feet tall) line the beds and shrubbery.
• Weeds grow throughout the parking lot in such a way that it resembles a meadow.
• Windows have been left open in the mansion as well.

Please reach out the them at the following addresses, emails and/or phone numbers. PLEASE HELP!
