J25 Jazz

Valentine’s Eve was a fun evening at Burchfield’s at the DoubleTree. Bruce, Brian, Brent and Joe (should we rename 3B’s and a J?) played for an appreciative audience. Judging from the number of bouquets and gifts, Valentines got off to a rousing start!

A very special J-25 Trio, made up of Bruce, Emerson and Brent, will be entertaining the residents and staff of The Glen in Oak Ridge. Down beat is at 1:30

An appreciative crowd last night for the J-25 Jazz Quartet at Tennessee National! Good times were had by all!

This Friday!

Th J-25 Jazz Quartet LIVE at 201 Cafe and Wine Bar, next Friday night, January 2nd…8:00 PM downbeat! Come out for a great evening of chill jazz rhythms.

It’s been a very busy couple weeks in J-25 land, so busy in fact, that I’ve not had a chance to post.

Last Thursday, the Certified Organic Jazz Trio played for an appreciative audience at 201 Cafe!

Friday evening was our monthly outing at Burchfield’s in the DoubleTree Oak Ridge, where we had an unusual “double” on drums and percussion, with Charlie Valentine holding down the drum throne and Brent Williams on percussion.

The quartet will be back at 201 on January 2nd, the Friday after New Years and we hope that you can make it out!

Also, we are going to be starting both a text message group and an email list, so message us here if you would like to be included on those groups…we promise not to drive you crazy, only to let you know when and where we are going to be playing.
