With experience spanning national security organizations, startups, and corporate innovation, Tim has dedicated his career to making advanced technology and AI more understandable and accessible. His background includes work with Sandia National Laboratories, MITRE, Verizon’s original AI Red Team, and co-founding Starseer as CEO.

CarePortal is a care-sharing technology platform that connects child welfare caseworkers, local churches, and community members to meet the tangible needs of vulnerable children and families in crisis. Katy will also share about Every Child TN, a statewide initiative working to support children, youth, and families before, during, and after foster care across all 95 Tennessee counties.

A resident since 1974, he is a graduate of Oak Ridge High School and Roane State Community College, and has owned and operated Chuck’s Car Care Center since 1982. His decades of service include time on Oak Ridge City Council, the Chamber of Commerce Board (Chairman in 2010), and the Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Explore Oak Ridge, the city’s Convention and Visitors Bureau, works to promote tourism and recreation while sharing the story of our community’s unique history. Known as the “Secret City” during the Manhattan Project, Oak Ridge played a critical role in one of the most significant scientific efforts of its time...shaping advancements in nuclear fuel, medicine, and more.

Charice leads community partnerships and system-wide initiatives to strengthen responses to domestic violence, elder abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking — helping ensure a more coordinated and supportive approach for those in need.

This year's Interact conference was a tremendous success! Jessica Linton won the Fred Bomar Scholarship bringing Oak Ridge High School's streak to four winners in a row. We took First Place in the digital scrapbook competition, First Place in the T shirt design competition, Second Place in the large group talent show and Second Place in badge design. This is the most wins in the history of Interact conference competition. Students were selected to attend conference based on the number of hours that they dedicated to volunteering in our community. And of the 124 students in Interact only 22 were invited to attend. Thank you to everyone who donated to make this possible. Our students will be visiting Rotary on May 7th. Please make sure you join us in congratulating this wonderful group of young leaders.

With more than 55 years of living and working in Oak Ridge, Ray has dedicated his career to preserving and sharing the story of the Manhattan Project, Y-12, and the people who shaped our community.

An award-winning documentary producer, author, and longtime columnist of Historically Speaking, Ray continues to bring Oak Ridge’s remarkable history to life through films, books, tours, and presentations across the region.
