This week is going to be one filled with love and laughter but first.....

Here are a few of my favorite ways to make my guests feel right at home during their stay:

1️⃣ Create a welcoming entrance by decluttering your foyer, laying out a fresh doormat, and ensuring good lighting. This sets the tone for your guests' entire experience and makes that crucial first impression count.

2️⃣ Set up designated areas for specific purposes - a drink station away from the main food area, a place for coats and bags, and perhaps a quiet corner for those who need a moment of respite during longer gatherings.

3️⃣ Incorporate comfortable guest room touches like fresh linens, extra pillows, accessible charging stations along with extra toiletries and fresh hand towels.

4️⃣Pay attention to sensory details like pleasant scents (a subtle room fragrance or fresh-baked goods), comfortable temperature settings, and background music at the right volume to encourage conversation.

Personally, I am thankful for spaces that bring families together, warm color palettes that feel like home, and the art of creating environments where memories are made.
