This past week our ministry affiliate NicaWorks provided over 400 school uniforms for students at Club Cristiana La Esperanza - La Chureca!

It’s ! Did you know that Crossroads’ affiliate ministry in Nicaragua - NicaWorks - helped launch and supports Nicabikeshop? It’s the largest reseller of bikes in the country and provides affordable transportation for thousands of . Check out the video for a sneak peek inside!

It’s been a week since this group of goof balls from Crossroads140 returned from Nicaragua. What an amazing trip with amazing people. Thank you NicaWorks staff () Pastor Ed, Ruby Ranch Nicaragua and Open Hearts Nicaragua - the Buzbee family - for all the sweat and tears you pour into ministry day in and day out. It was a blessing to be with you all last week.

Yesterday, the Crossroads and NicaWorks! Crew arrived in Bluefields on the east coast of Nicaragua and delivered food bags ( rice, beans and oil) to the families working in the rock quarry. These families make their living from breaking down rocks to smaller stones in hopes that construction workers will purchase from them. Even the children are involved in the process. Pastor Ed is engaged in ministering to this community on a regular basis and the team was honored and humbled to serve with him at the quarry. @ Bluefields, Nicaragua NicaWorks Crossroads140

Well, would you look at that. We have water!
We are excited to share that, due to the generosity of people like you as well as partners such as Fervent Fire, we have been able to make significant progress on the Sweet Corn project.

Our well has been cleaned and updated which will allow us to begin irrigating corn again with proper filtration, thus insuring we can continue planting sweet corn.

"Over the past two years, Josh Jaentschke, Field Director of NicaWorks!, and his team have done an incredible job of building Frutivera, an agriculture business committed to creating employment and opportunity for people in Nicaragua. To date, Frutivera employs 16 people, providing their team members and their families with the chance to write a new future. However, this is just the beginning. As the operation continues to expand, Frutivera will be able to create the same opportunities for many more families.

However, this will not be possible without improving the water and irrigation systems...."
