Greetings from Lone Wolf Greenhouse
Tomatoes are producing great! We even have enough for canning and seconds for fresh salsa or salads. They are grown in in the greenhouse in organic compost, with no pesticides. Everyone that tastes them, loves them!
Firsts sell for $5.00 for a large tomato, two medium ones and a small. Seconds for $10.00 a box and canners sell for $20.00 a box. Pictures below are in that order.
Open tomorrow, Friday, from 8am to 4pm or call 763-753-2076. Leave a message if there is no answer.
I’ll let you know when we will be open again.
Larry grows them, Sandi sells them. We hope to see you.

We still have a few annuals and have vegetable plants, no peppers, pumpkin or watermellon plants though.
We have asiatic and oriental lilies for sale at $5.00 each. A few doubles this year. They range from 14" tall to 56", many great colors. I'll be posting pictures when they are in bloom, usually in July. Have a great summer, we hope to see you again next spring!

We still have some annuals and many vegetable plants inclucing tomato, squash, and cucumber plants. We are open 8am to 7pm. Thank you to all of our great customers!

05/24/2020

The plants are displayed outside now making it great for social distancing. No appointment needed, just come over and shop. We have run out of spikes, coleus, and sweet alyssum but, we still have a good selection of annuals and vegetable plants. We have no hanging baskets for the sun left, but some nice begonia baskets for the shadier areas of your yard.
This has been an unusual spring for us with lots of new ways of just about every aspect of growing. We want to thank our customers, we’ve been overwhelmed by their support and understanding. You all make this experience special!
Sandi and Larry

We now have beautiful weather during the day, but the night temperature for a whole week will be under 40°, two nights are now predicted to be 32°. If you planted anything other than seeds and cole crop plants, you should cover them at night. Do not use plastic unless you can do so without it touching the plants, one way is to put them under lawn chairs and cover the chairs with the plastic so there is an air gap. Most that bought from us planted in planters so if possible, slide them into the garage.
We hope all your plants survive and you have beautiful flowers all around you the rest of the summer.

04/24/2020

We hope everyone is doing good and the weather sure looks good, so we decided to be open. I would like to know when people are coming to limit the amount at one time, but if you decide just to come and there are too many people here, you can wait by your car. Some plants are still small but they look great. We will see you soon, I think we will still get a frost in May, so if you don't want to risk it you can come over and get a start.

04/14/2020

I thought it was time to share what we are thinking. We are kind of low tec here, so what I did was set up a new email address, [email protected]. If you are interested in getting a list of all the plants we will have available, email us at that email address and I will email it to you. I have also taken some pictures of some of the tags that have a picture on it so you have a better idea of the colors and some say the height on it too. If you have excel you can mark what plants you want, figure what you owe us and pay via pay pal. We plan to have hanging baskets available after May 4th. You can call 763-753-2076 to order, leave your order and phone number in case some items are unavailable. We don’t have the variety we did a couple of years ago. We don’t plan to have pick up for the bedding plants until it is safe to leave them outside, at this point we are planning that all transactions will be done outside. Thank you, it will be good to see you and nice to start gardening and seeing some beautiful colors. Sandi and Larry

ANNUALS in 2020 03/31/2020

these are annauls we will have available in 2020

Time to update you a little.
We have been busy, it’s good to have the greenhouse with what is going on! We know there are different issues this year as some local sales have cancelled their orders all ready. Working with the plants are therapeutic!
We just want to let you know we will be open!
We are discussing ways to have it safe for us and our customers. Some of the ideas we’re thinking about include having our customers make appointments, another is pre order. Got suggestions? We would love to hear from you, we don’t have the selection we had a couple years ago, so we will limit the amount of some of the plants and then post what is available later. If you would like you can correspond with me through email at [email protected].
We are taking credit cards again this year. We will keep you updated about when we will open and how we will handle the amount of people here at one time.
Thank you all, we are excited to garden and we’re sure you are too. See you in another month. Larry and Sandi

Spring 2020

03/18/2020

Fellow gardeners,
A lot has happened this past year. We quit going to farmers markets early in the fall in order to rebuild our main greenhouse. It had collapsed due to wet heavy spring snows last year. With the help of a few high school friends, old, old friends, it's up and running this spring. We are very grateful and proud of their accomplishment. This has been no easy task.

As you know, I'm still battling kidney cancer. I started feeling better last summer and the newest immunotherapy is unbelievable! I'm currently on a maintenance program.

With the corona virus doing it's thing, I'm very vulnerable, but making the best of it. For now, it's just Sandi and I working together. I'm hoping to give you all a glimpse of spring to come as our babies progress. Stay safe and take care of each other...lar
