Let's talk SCULLERIES. What is a scullery, you ask? Essentially, it's a secondary kitchen/prep area for the dirtywork to be done out of the guest's sight. Or, think of it as an overflow kitchen.
Scullery comes from the latin word "scutella" meaning tray or platter. Somehow, it made it's way to be a scullery.
So next time you are in a home, that has this "extra area" for washing, prepping and cooking, say "hey lady, nice SCULLERY."

Legit the BEST letter I have ever received from my son from Sleepaway Camp. At the time he was probably eight or nine years old. I loved it so much even if the toenail did come with the letter! 😱😱
