I love using my great grandfather’s #5 Stanley! We hand plane a ton of the tables that we build here. We love the look! This one out of quarter-sawn White Oak is off to Awendaw to its new home. Brad Nietert
Merry Christmas from Santa’s workshop!

Just finished a little restoration on this old roll top. Re-veneered writing surface and a little finish improvement , as well as a rebuilt tambour! Go M J!

Check out this custom white oak console we’re working on in the shop this week! 🤩🤩 Each piece of wood has been wire brushed by hand to create a cool textured look to the wood. Can’t wait to see it with stain!

When I do a chair frame, I do a chair frame! 17 clamps on one chair!

For those that didn't know, horse hair was the stuffing of choice for upholsterers in the 19th century and first half of the 20th century.

Told the customer it was probably built somewhere around 1880. Turns out it was signed and dated on the bottom, 1881. Pretty cool!
