WE'RE HIRING!!!- A/V & Lighting Technician and Warehouse Manager
Job description
Production Design Associates is a live events production company. Candidates must have a working knowledge of audio/video and lighting equipment, gear and operations. Please indicate your experience in the audio/visual industry when applying, including working knowledge of equipment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, be able to drive a Fork Lift and work nights or weekends if needed and have good driving record.
The organization and communication of all warehouse activities related to the movement of equipment and gear in and out of the warehouse. Directly responsible for the daily administration of all gear up to and including pulling and loading all equipment, gear check-out, check-in, truck loading, unloading, restocking, pre-tech, and post-tech of gear.
Maintain the control systems necessary to affect accurate inventory tracking of gear into and out of the warehouse for all shows. Create and maintain systems to ensure proper safety checks are done on all company vehicles
Principal responsibility for the ultimate location and storage of production equipment (gear) while in inventory, to include scenic items. Maintain and keep warehouse in an extremely organized, clean and safe manner with special attention to the safety and cleanliness of the receiving dock and its bays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
