I am so excited to share our May 8th video recording of the 2021 Overlooked Fashion Show was a great success and tickets are ON SALE NOW!

Our Fashion Show Production Debut will be offered both Virtually and In-person at the RMMT Theater. For the in-person Fashion Show Viewings at the Theater, any SOA student may attend the event, but tickets are sold in "groups of 5" (AKA "Pods") for only students and their immediate family members (due to pandemic limitations).

For everyone else interested in viewing the fashion show and wants to support our program through the purchase of tickets, we are so excited to air the video of the fashion show during the same viewing times as the RMMT Theater Viewings.

VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON SHOWING Dates and Times are as follows:
5/21 VIP Night 6:00 (Sold Out) & 8:00 pm
(VIP night airs a week before the other standard viewing nights, the Mayor Tecklinburg and his Wife Sandy will be present along with Social Influencer and Fashionista Andrea Serrano and her Influencer guests. The News Media will be invited to this evening as well.

5/27 & 5/28 Showings are also at 6:00 and 8:00 pm
Both virtually and In-Person at the RMMT Theater (again, in-person showings at the RMMT is for students and their immediate family members).

FIRST APPLY: You apply through CCSD School choice Jan. 26-Feb. 26. Anyone who applies may audition! After you apply (before Feb. 26), you will audition virtually as outlined below.

Fashion and Design Major (9th—12th Grade only)

By March 5th at 3pm, Students must Submit 3 color drawings on paper of original costume or fashion designs appropriate for a child, teen or adult (male or female) on a human figure/model (croquis).

If you have difficulty getting your garment and sketches to the school, please reach out so we can make accommodations.

Drawings must be placed in a manila folder with the applicant’s name on the back. Drawings will not be returned.

Students must drop off 1 garment (at the SOA Front Desk) either constructed or altered by them. Accessories may also be included. Student Names and contact phone number (and/or email) MUST be written on paper and pinned to each garment.

Students will participate in a 30 minute zoom audition

This includes a 20 minute live on a human figure/model (croquis) sketch challenge assessment

Students will participate in a 10 minute question and answer session about their work.
