• @cearadonnelleyltdco A view of the room in which I first learned a very important lesson: I love to design a kitchen far more than I love to use one! I’ve become slightly more of a chef living in Charleston, but I’m much more enthused about fixtures, materials, and making kitchens warm, elevated, and inviting workhorses. For my own kitchen, the layout was dictated by our desire to place the range within an original hearth (we reopened up another one in the family room beyond). The palette flowed from a beautiful calacatta blue marble found at a local stone yard, and I selected the more modern @downtown20la fixture to remind myself that even though there’s a pool just outside those doors, I really am in a city! (Or at least a big town, for this native New Yorker). 📸 by @briewilliams for our @verandamag shoot
