I’ve experienced a lot of hate and negativity in the passed 2 months, esp this passed week.
Voices that at first appear to be so loud screaming how worthless you are and how you’ll fail inevitably amongst other various insults and defamatory remarks.
But the amount of encouragement and support that has flooded my inbox, timeline, text messages and phone calls has silenced those baseless attempts to trip up my progression.
I’ve learned a long time ago that when people are mean to you without motive it is more of a reflection on them then it will ever be on you and I constantly remind myself of that bc let’s face it, people are mean.
It’s all the other people that root you on, lift you up, and go out of their way to remind you that most people are good and those are your people. All the others who have nothing better to do than to bring people down in order to lift themselves up aren’t worth your time or energy.
So thank you to all the wonderful people out there who remind us all why we do what we do.
I’ll constantly do my best to reciprocate all the support and encouragement I’ve had in this truly challenging time.

I secured a suite in the Phenix Salon Suites in the Commack Target shopping center but unfortunately the completion date for construction keeps getting delayed. Phenix has given me a temporary suite in the North Babylon Suites until commack is ready so that I have the ability to service all of my clients before the holiday season.

It is with great disappointment that once again I have found myself in an environment that appears from the outside to be welcoming, familial, encouraging and uplifting when in fact it was only a facade. I will never understand how someone who makes the conscious decision to lead and employ other individuals falls short because of ego and a need to lead by intimidation and fear. People are not objects you can collect for personal gain, you can not use our skill and talent to build a reputation for your establishment and then take all the credit for yourself.

We are human beings who have mastered a craft and deserve to be in an environment that holds value in that. So once again I find myself unable to tolerate the tyranny that goes on within the walls of an organization I spend more time in then I do my own home.

I’ve met amazing people during this last year, men and women who I value more than words can explain. Created relationships that will carry on with or without a shared place of employment. I will forever give them credit for the growth of that organization because that’s who deserves it.

Big things are coming and I have made a promise to myself to make sure I never find myself in a position where I feel unliked and undervalued ever again.
