Thank you for inviting me to team up and cater desserts for the Jewish Federation of Tidewater’s Film Festival! It was a very fun opportunity and great success! We followed a medal theme for the evening inspired by the film Tatami.

I baked the chocolate chip cookies, frosted sugar cookies, lemon bars, and mini vanilla & chocolate cupcakes.

made the Japanese castella cakes, Nan-e Nokhodchi, halva, and mousse.

Everything kosher and so good!

Cookie Dough Cake 🍪
I was so excited for this order because I’ve been dreaming of making a cake like this. Customer requested sour cream pound cake for the cake layers. I baked it super light to maintain a soft tender crumb and folded chocolate chips right into the batter. To finish, I stacked the cake with brown sugar frosting and thick layers of edible cookie dough. Swipe to see the insane layers…. 🤤

A 3-layer genoise cake soaked with espresso and finished with mascarpone frosting. Your traditional tiramisu but on steroids 🤭
