Thanks to a recent grant opportunity from The Cannon Foundation Inc., we were able to replace our 2004 Dodge Durango with a 2022 Chevy Silverado. This will increase our towing and equipment capabilities ensuring we are able to support both our first responders and communities.

Reporting to Cherrydale Vol Fire Dept,VA for a Fire Apparatus refurb. Out with all the old strobe and in with all new LED lights. We are one of the few companies that do this type of work on site.

Small department with a small budget got lucky and was given a military surpluses Humvee. We helped with the budget by donating lights, siren and a speaker we had laying around.

We got to check out the new "Loft" by LUND in person at our facility. A pretty cool setup. It will work with or without a rear partition. We don't like to tell our customers something can't be done. So when a customer asked to turn a 2016 Chevy Equinox into a K9 unit we said yes. We were then told my every manufacturer that they did not make a K9 insert for that vehicle. So we ended up buying the Setina Universal K9 Insert, cutting the top corners, doing a little welding and a little repainting and BAM, you get a K9 Equinox.

You can see the difference, even at a distance, between the Progard and Westin Public Safety Division Push Bumpers. The quality Westin provides for Public Safety is unparalleled.

We found this on an ambulance in for repair today. This isn't even what it is here for. This customer has "a guy" that usually handles all of their repairs. However the issue they were having now he couldn't fix so they brought it to us. While fixing the original problem we went ahead and just took care of this to.

When Manassas Park Police asked us to build their UTV they had 2 requests. 1.) Make it bright; so Code3 MegaThins, MR6s, HB6PAK and HB915s. Also 2 of the Westin 40" utility lightbars. 2.) It can't be any taller due to the trailer height it rides in; so we built a custom plate overhead to hold the radio, speaker, antenna and control box.

We think it turned out pretty damn good.

Customer drop off on Sunday. We have Monday and half of Tuesday to get her ready for a special event. More details to come.

Ford factory ordered speaker option. The interesting part is it's a Federal Signal siren, not Whelen. After the picture we posted earlier showing the terrible factory light placement on the lift gate we are starting to think the Ford factory guys are hitting the eggnog a bit to early.

Want to disable the automatic overhead light in the Dodge Charger? One of our customers did so we tracked down the wire. Pop down the factory overhead, 4 push tabs hold it just pull down till it feels like it's gonna break then pull harder LOL. You will find 4 wires, 2 are yellow/green cut the one to the inside if the harness. BOOM you can still push button to turn it on but no more automatic with the doors. The same customer also has us unplug the lights under the doors.

Upgrade to existing build. New Westin push bumper with 2 Westin floodlights and Code3 multicolor MR6 lights (flash red/white with steady burn white option).

Sometimes we have agencies who do their own installs call to ask how we do something. We sent this picture showing the location of where we get the brake signal for the Kustom camera system in a Caprice. They had tied the signal at the tail light, when the emergency lights activated the wigwags the display window got a flashing "B". The camera thought the brake was being applied on off rapidly. The C pillar is a great place to tap in to the 3rd brake light. 1 screw and the C pillar pops off. Easy to get to even if the cage is already installed. Use the larger purple/white wire.

New portable light programming box. Great for programming lights anywhere and supplying power to other devices.

Smithfield PD rocking some new upgrades for their new 2015 fleet. Slick top package added the new multicolor Supervisor lightbar by Code3, here showing "scene mode". The lightbar flashes blue with an intermittent white flash for the pop effect. It also had a takedown mode where only 2 lights go white allowing the rest to flash blue. Another new upgrade is the multicolor intersectors by SoundOff Signal, also showing off "scene mode". These lights are set to flash an equal amount of blue and white to help with side lighting and intersection clearing.
