KES Machine was performing a ISO Calibration of a 5 axis CNC machine. During the calibration, we discovered a large squareness error with the machine. We worked with the customer’s maintenance department to relevel the machine. After the Squareness was corrected, we continued on with the Laser and Ballbar calibrations. These are the Ballbar final results from the X-Y Plane. This is a 24” Diameter Test diameter running at 60 IPM. The overall circularity was under 0.0002”.
