🎉 What an incredible time we had at The Berlin Upbeat Picnic this past Thursday! 🎶✨ We provided heart-pumping beats and crystal-clear audio through our Biamp Community iBox rig, setting the perfect mood for everyone to dance and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. The performances by local Berlin schools and groups were simply amazing, showcasing their talent and passion for music & dance. We're honored to have been a part of amplifying their voices and bringing the community together. Soundcheck complete and our team is proud to announce that we've installed a top-of-the-line sound system at the Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center pavilion! Our Biamp speakers and LEA Professional amp are sure to provide a quality worship experience for all who attend special events and services. We can't wait for you to hear the difference.

We have recently finished installing a sound system for Gloria Dei Church in Bristol. Featuring a Biamp Community DS5 distributed speaker system and ALLEN & HEATH AHM processor. This powerful combo allowed us to create a solution that's both easy to use and preserves the look and feel of the church.

Last Saturday's event was a hit thanks to the talented quartets and Hartford Men's Choir! We loved providing the perfect sound and lighting for such a special night 🎼🎤

CMI worked with the Life Be In It Extravaganza with Newington Parks and Recreation this weekend. A hot weekend with lots of talented bands and one of the coolest fireworks shows we've seen. What It Is, Last Licks, and Mass-Conn-Fusion rocked it this weekend. Thanks for a fun weekend Newington.

They can show different things on each display or the same thing on both for flexible usage. Just because we haven't posted in a while doesn't mean we haven't been busy. Here are some pictures of a recent job we finished at First Congregational Church in Thomaston.

Pastor Marcus and his worship team had a dated sound system that was no longer appropriate for their worship format. Constant feedback, limited functionality and control were some of the primary concerns they had.

As you can see in the pictures this is a gorgeous sanctuary so aesthetics was a big focus. To minimize the visual impact while maintaining uncompromising audio quality, Community Professional Loudspeakers FR column line array speakers were selected and custom painted to match the walls they hung on. Along with the low profile of the FR, painting the speakers makes them virtually disappear.

Throughout the installation process, members of the church came through the sanctuary and didn't even realize that we had hung the new speakers.

We added a Community VLF-208LV subwoofer for extended bass reception. We also used 2 Community DS5 speakers for monitoring on the altar along with QSC E-110 speakers for monitors where the worship team performs.

QSC RMX and CX amplifiers were the choice for amplification for this installation and Audio-Technica USA system 10 wireless mics were used.

First Congregational Church wanted a system that is simple to operate when they have a basic service with the option to have more control and inputs for more dynamic services.

For control of basic inputs we installed an Ashly Audio, Inc. NE 24.24 audio processor and matrix paired with WR-5 wall stations on the altar and in the rear of the Sanctuary. This allows anyone to come in, power the system up, and operate basic inputs without needing a sound technician.

For extended control we installed a QSC Touchmix16. The worship team can control their inputs from this surface as well as an Ipad that the sound technician can take anywhere in the room and mix. The Touchmix was the perfect solution for this installation because of it has small footprint yet has all the features of a large format console.

We're happy with how it came out and with First Congregational the best of luck with their new system. We thank them for choosing CMI Sound Systems and look forward to partnering with them for future projects!
