🐾 MEET SADIE — SHE NEEDS A RIDE TO HER SECOND CHANCE 💔

Imagine wanting to run… but your back legs just won’t work.

Imagine trying to follow the people you love, only to have to drag your little body behind you. 💔

That’s our sweet Sadie.

Sadie is a French Bulldog battling IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease)—a spinal condition unfortunately common in Frenchies that can cause severe pain, weakness and even paralysis of the back legs.

Sadie has completed crate rest and medications, but her fight isn’t over. She needs continued therapy and rehabilitation, and we desperately want to give her every chance possible to walk again. 🥺

And we have AMAZING news…

❤️ Perfectly Imperfect Canine Rescue in Chicago has said YES to Sadie! ❤️

Our friend Lydia has wonderful experience rehabilitating IVDD Frenchies, and Sadie now has the opportunity to continue her recovery with someone who knows exactly what these special dogs need.

Now we just have to get her there.

This will cover Sadie’s transport to Chicago, health certificate and travel expenses. If we raise it, she can leave THIS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2!

ANGUS IS ALMOST HOME!! 🥹❤️

Right now this handsome boy is in the car making his way to Georgia, and we are SO excited to finally meet him!

Before he gets here, we have some very special people to thank. ❤️

A HUGE thank you to Jen Taylor for stepping up for Angus, coordinating everything and making sure he got all the way to us here in Georgia. Rescue takes a village, and sometimes that village stretches across state lines!

And we especially want to thank Jen’s mom and dad, who opened their home to Angus when he needed somewhere safe to stay until his trip. They gave him a soft place to land, a comfy couch and bed, and most importantly, lots and LOTS of love. Judging by these pictures, we’re pretty sure Angus managed to steal a couple of hearts while he was there. 🥹💙

Now it’s our turn.

Angus is almost to MAD Rescue GA, where he’ll officially begin his next chapter. For tonight, there are no sad stories. We’re just celebrating one more dog being surrounded by people who cared enough to say YES.

❤️‍🩹 DOLLY UPDATE — WITH SOME REALLY GOOD NEWS ❤️

Our sweet Dolly had to make an unexpected trip back to the vet after developing an infection following her spay. 😞 She’s now on 10 days of antibiotics, and we’re hoping she’ll be feeling much better very soon.

But here’s the exciting part… 🥹❤️

Dolly had a meet-and-greet and it went AMAZING!

Her potential family loved her, and once she’s healthy enough, they plan to take her home for a trial adoption! 🐾🏡

So for now, we’re getting this little girl healthy and crossing EVERYTHING that this is the beginning of her forever. ❤️

❤️ HOW IS RED STILL HERE?! ❤️

If you’re looking for an amazing family dog, Red may be your guy.

Red is about 2–3 years old and around 20 pounds — the perfect medium-small size. He is possibly a miniature pinscher or Manchester terrier mix. He is sweet, easygoing, and has done great with dogs, cats, kids, and everyone he meets.

We rescued Red from our local animal control back in May, after he had already spent over a month in the shelter. Somehow, this wonderful dog is STILL waiting for his forever family.

Red is fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed, and on monthly prevention.

He really is just a GOOD BOY who deserves a home of his own. ❤️

This is the part of rescue that makes every hard day worth it.

Stan has officially been adopted by the sweetest family, and the kids are absolutely in LOVE with him. 🥹🐾

Seeing him safe, loved, spoiled, and exactly where he belongs is everything we could have hoped for.

From needing someone to take a chance on him… to having a whole family that adores him. ❤️

Well… they aren’t empty anymore. ❤️

Today we picked up TWO little Yorkies from Rockdale County Animal Services — one boy and one girl — and they are officially safe with MAD Rescue GA! 🥹

As you can see, these babies have had a rough go of it. They’re dirty, matted and desperately in need of some TLC. We have a lot to figure out over the next few days, but tonight the most important thing is that they’re safe. ❤️

There is just one problem… THEY DON’T HAVE NAMES!

Well… they aren’t empty anymore. ❤️

THEY’RE SAFE. BOTH OF THEM.

We just pulled these two little emergency rescues from Rockdale County Animal Services, and they are officially with MAD Rescue GA.

They need a lot of care, but we’ll share more once we get them home, cleaned up and settled.

For now, just know that two shelter dogs are sleeping somewhere safe tonight. ❤️🐾

🐾 TWO EMPTY CRATES… does everybody know what that means?! 🐾

MAD Rescue GA is on the road today to pick up TWO rescue dogs from Rockdale County Animal Services. ❤️

These two desperately need us. They are severely matted and are going to need grooming, vetting, preventatives, and whatever else we find once we get them cleaned up and can really see what we’re dealing with.

For now… these crates are empty.

But not for long. 🥹❤️

Stay tuned because we’ll introduce our two newest MAD Rescue GA babies as soon as they’re safely loaded up!
