Ballroom Dancing Club at the University of Delaware

The dancers at the 2026 Spring Ballroom Showcase at the University of Delaware brought their A game for their video game-themed performances! Songs originated from a variety of games including classics like Tomb Raider and Stardew Valley, indie games such as Pyre, and even an unreleased game in development by one of our team members! Dances included waltz, tango, rumba, and more. A section of the showcase also included a non-choreographed competition-style dance demonstration.

All the dancers, who range in level from Newcomer to Silver/Intermediate, developed their own choreography, and their creativity really shone through!

We are very excited to announce that I Heart UD day is here! This is one of the biggest days for the community to give back to RSO's and other organizations on campus. Congratulations to our competitors as they close out the season! at the University of Maryland was our biggest and fiercest competition of this year, and we still got plenty of callbacks and some ribbons!

We had a cumulative 20 competitors during this academic year, and are looking forward to raising that number in Fall!

The UD competitors danced the night away at pajama jam, the pre-comp pajama dance party at Maryland! Wish us luck, we will be up bright and early for competition day tomorrow!

Students Skylar Callis and Cameron Hartley shared a lead at the Snow Ball at Penn State over the weekend! Anthony valiantly competed back-to-back with his regular partner Skylar at the Bronze level, and filled in for a sick teammate at the Silver level. Even more impressively, both pairings were finalists in multiple dances! 🏆

May we just say, hiking through the Penn State campus in the snow and ice in ballgowns really drove home the theme of the competition... ☃️

This was the first of several competitions scheduled for this semester... Come to team practice on Wednesdays and Fridays at 7 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church and be ready for Binghamton next month, or any of our other upcoming competitions! ✨️
