🍂 Fall Semester Starter Pack 🍂

Fall is almost here! The summer is beginning to wind down as students are coming back to campuses. The leaves are changing colors, the air is getting colder. Students are enjoying their coffee as they settle into a routine, keeping up with their growing pile of assignments to complete.

With that, events they attend during their times as students will soon become another part of fall that they'll feel nostaglic about! Whether it's a magic show, a music event, or a poetry event, it'll be a memory they will reminisce on. ✨

Student Affairs doesn't just plan events. It designs the student experience!

Every event asks students to make a choice. They can stay in their residence hall, head back to their apartment, or walk across campus and step into a room full of people they may not know. That decision is about far more than attending another event. It's an opportunity to discover a new interest, join a conversation, meet someone new, or simply feel connected to the campus community.
That's why Student Affairs has an opportunity few professions possess.

It helps shape the experience students have while they are becoming who they will be.

Every campus has a fall fest. Some feature pumpkin patches and hay bales. Others include food trucks, local vendors, inflatables, crafts, concerts, novelty attractions, or outdoor movies. Every campus puts its own spin on one of the most anticipated traditions of the semester. But rarely do students remember the decorations, but the memories they've made!

What are some of your fond memories from a fall fest or welcome week that you've been a part of?
